Around here things get pretty crazy with 3 boys close in age. As most of you know I grew up the oldest of 5 girls, no brothers so there are plenty of things I have had to adjust with having 3 sons of my own. Cody is always having to remind me to let my boys be boys....and not be so protective of them! The other night they were having such a fun time pillow fighting, I had to snap some pics. They were laughing and knocking each other down, then getting back up to do it over and over again. I love to see them playing together and getting along.
Later it was bedtime, and Rhett wanted to read Kade a bedtime story. Ethan climbed in Kade's bed and they listened and laughed as Rhett read to them.
I love my kids more than I thought was possible. My life feels wild and crazy sometimes - but simple things like this bring me such happiness that it makes all the spilled milk, fighting, tears, potty humor, and loudness that comes with being a mom of boys worthwhile.

Don't get me wrong little girls are great too. I know I have one. But there is something about little boys that...I don't know... is just...magical. Your boys are definitely 3 of my favorites!

Those pictures of Rhett reading to the other boys is priceless. You're going to have to give me all your pointers for being a mom of three boys. I'm going to need all the help I can get!
It's so easy to forget those awesome little moments! But they are the ones that make life worthwhile.

What a sweet post Brooke! I love it! So fun to see kids getting along and just laughing and having fun...I sure treasure those moments with mine!! (But I bet you have those all the time anyways!!) I love the picture of Rhett reading Ethan and Kade a story, so cute! I too love it when my girls play and get along with each other! Poor Kade, that would really hurt. He is one tough little guy to go through all that. I'm so glad to hear the medication for his seizures is working well!
I love trying not to laugh at potty humor. Jeremiah and I always try to hold it in until later but we are rarely successful.
